Students will engage in science content and topics already discussed in new ways while playing the board and card games during class. Students will play Ecosystem, Planet, Photosynthesis, and Open Ocean based on the level of difficulty and skills needed. This time will be beneficial as it reinforces important concepts that students will need to understand as they engage in the world, and ecosystems, around them. My students come from a variety of backgrounds and cultures. By providing game days, students will have additional chances to bond and share experiences with one another, bridging the gap that keeps them from understanding one another fully. Everyone can share a laugh or smile around a game!

About my class
