I have a PE class with 40 kids in it. These kids do not participate in our small schools athletics. They are not very active and most of them do not participate in any type of physical activity outside of my PE class. I would like to get them interested in the sports of softball and baseball. We do not have enough gloves or bats at our school to get these kids involved. I would like to give these kids an option of playing a lifelong activity like baseball or softball. These two sports have given me so much joy in my lifetime. We do not have enough baseball or softball gloves to allow us to play catch. Nor, do we have any bats the size the kids would need to hit. Therefore any funds that we get would be used to purchase bats and gloves for the kids to use in my class.
