I have about 13 calculators in my classroom that the school provided by I have 36 students in one period. On test days this makes it difficult. We do not require them to have their own (although they can) and they can not use phone or computer calculators on test days. This would create an even test taking (and learning) environment for the students. We do introductions to trigonometry which require the use of a calculator! I don't want my students to fall behind on work or in learning because they didn't have access to a physical calculator.
