Through resources purchased on teachers pay teachers I can teach standards more in depth to provide a better understanding for my students. Curriculum is great, but sometimes...most times students need more than paper and pencils. Supplemental materials give teachers the ability to bring curriculum to life and make learning even more fun. An example of resources purchased on TPT are book study units. After each even numbered reading unit we have the ability to do a book study, those are easily purchased on teachers pay teachers but they of course cost a small fortune. Receiving these funds would help our dramatically and I know my students, and myself, would be so grateful.
