The combination of sensory tools and books will be used to create calm down kits that will be distributed in general education classrooms. The books will be used to supplement our growing library of Social Emotional learning. These books specifically address topics that have been discussed or will be discussed in social groups. Each item has specifically picked to help support students emotional and sensory needs in the general education classroom. Students have the opportunity to learn how to use these items to help support their learning. Books are an amazing tool to help talk about specific SEL topics!
