Students are often required to complete work in my Literacy class through online learning platforms like Reading Plus or Google Classrooms. We are working a lot on improving their reading comprehension, vocabulary, and basic understanding of topics covered in the core English classroom. Oftentimes, students are unable to receive adequate feedback from me because of internet connection, poor computer interface on said learning platforms, and the large number of students needing help per class. Having an iPad that is able to connect to most networks and has an interactive application ability will allow me to offer my students real-time feedback in class, faster and more efficiently, as well as at home when we're required to learn virtually. Being able to communicate quickly with my students, with or without an internet connection, makes their learning process more continuous and allows for fewer obstacles in the classroom or at home.
