These books have been chosen with students in mind. They will help to fill my classroom library with books of diverse interests and reading levels. The more students read, they better readers they become. And with more books on their level and in areas of their interest, the more my students will read. This will help increase reading fluency and comprehension. With new literacy activities, games and hands-on manipulatives, my students will be able to enjoy expanding both their reading and writing skills. These activities will be used in small reading groups, as well to challenge my early finishers.
