Most of our students' come from very low income families. They are unable to provide them with basic classroom supplies at the beginning of the year, such as crayons, markers, pencils...etc. By receiving these items, we will be able to do more creative science projects. Some of those projects will be our "how we impact the environment" poster project, as well as drawing the water cycle, rock cycle, and the geologic time scale. We are also working on staying organized and cleaning up our own messes. The organizational carts and filing cabinet will help students take the supplies as they need them, but also return them. There will be a spot for paper, pencils, crayons, markers, colored pencils, rulers, note cards, along with other items. The workbooks will be used as supplemental resources, along with our digital textbooks. They also include cheap science experiments that the students' could attempt at home.
