While kids are at home, my class doesn't have the means to help them besides sending home a packet which causes learning gaps. Being awarded this grant will help me to have hands-on learning boxes that can be checked out and sent home for a student to learn hands-on and not just by packets. These include math blocks for adding and subtracting and counting and little readers to help with fluency. The headphones are needed to help with virtual learning also. In my class, a document camera will help with the students in class but also for videoing lessons to send home to parents.
