Due to Covid-19 and living in a high poverty area, we have used a lot of our basic supplies and funds are limited for our families and school district. Our students deserve the best, whether or not they come from a wealthy home or from a home struggling to make ends meet. Our classroom is as diverse, in economic status, as it is in personalities. These supplies would be a tremendous help in keeping my students motivated to TRY their best and BE their best selves. I want my students to feel like they are valued in my classroom. I cannot control what goes outside of my classroom but I can offer a safe, comfortable and worry-free space for them while they are at school. EVERY child deserves to have a space where they can be themselves and have the tools to express their thoughts.
