My students will be able to use these books to complete the "My American Dream" project that we do each year. We read The Great Gatsby and explore what they believe their American Dream is. It is important that we get a class set of books to prevent students from having to buy books themselves. Having a class set of books takes stress off of each student. It allows them to learn without wondering where or if they will be able to fund their own education. The project is designed to give students a plan of what to focus on their senior year of high school. Whether they are striving for college or on a career path, they are always encouraged going into their senior year with a plan of what life after high school will look like!

About my class
