These novels will help students to learn about adventure, characters, plot, theme, and settings. These books can be taken home so students can continue to read and learn through distance learning. My students love any books about adventure. Many of my students never get to leave Oklahoma, so books help them travel around the world without ever leaving the classroom. I use novels to help students to learn reading strategies. Students love reading novels and when we finish a book they always ask, "What are we reading next?" They love novels and can't wait to continue reading.
