These books will be added to our very skimpy classroom library. Students will be able to check them out, take them home to read, or read them in their classroom free time. Reading gives students a sense of accomplishment and well-being which is more important than ever now due to Covid. In addition, our school celebrates students who read by giving them motivational incentives. Students have various reading levels in my class and this class set encompasses grades 1 through 3-4. There is something for everyone here and all will benefit from the new books. Students also need headphones so that they can do independent work quietly.
