Students are more in need of sensory input than ever. This project has tools from therma-boards, to hidden sensory discs, to wobble seats to help students meet their immediate sensory needs so they can then focus on learning new content. Covid-19 caused a lot of learning gaps and social-emotional gaps. When students were not connected to their peers and on screens often, they were often disassociated. They had emotions that they did not know how to process. Things may be approaching a more normal level, but students are left with the emotional dis-regulation.

About my class
