The materials that I have requested for my grant are things that my classroom desperately needs. Almost every student that I have in class internalizes the materials through projects and group work. I’ve learned the material sticks with them when they get the opportunity to create. All of the materials I have asked for will go towards the creation of a project station. This will be where my students can collaborate with each other and have adequate space to create projects. I feel that with the added space and materials, my students will have the things they need to unlock and produce the higher learning, successful projects that they are attempting. The two Childcraft Folding Wood Tray with Dry Erase Markboard will be made into a station for collaboration, the School Smart Poster Boards will be used to create larger projects, the School Smart Colored Pencils, and Prang Classic Art Markers will be a huge help so that each student is able to use whatever colors or medium they need. The eight Classroom Select Contemporary Chairs will be used around the tables for adequate seating.
