If my project is chosen to fund, the following Lakeshore materials will allow my learners extra practice in phonics and phonemic awareness, as well as writing, while in Title I Reading. The extra practice will create confidence in my struggling readers. This new found confidence and foundational skills will carry over into the homeroom, increasing knowledge that will increase letter/sound recognition, sight word recognition, compression, and fluency, which will eventually increase Istation scores, meeting benchmark. My learners confidence will also help with their socioemotional issues they have acquired during the pandemic.
