With access to a portable touch screen Chromebook and a detachable webcam my students can get outside to study the earth. The webcam can help us record our adventures and post for peer reviews. Exploratory scavenger hunts can be completed on the move while keeping the directions and checklists on hand with the touch screen capability. Students can team up and record their attempts at assignments. The protective carry bag can keep items safe for transport and while put away. Covid-19 has shown the need for further technology use in school. While my students have access to a computer while sitting in a classroom this project will allow them to still access technology outside the classroom.
