Children in Pre-K need a lot of opportunities for self-expression and finding their creativity. These art materials and STEM items are going to let the children find their creative initiative and give them ample materials to discover and use. Our target population is lower-income families and dual-language families and art and STEM allow for differentiated learning to meet all needs and wants. Through these materials, children will use higher-level thinking and provide self-expression within each child. They will find value in their work and in themselves. It is my hope that by creatively expressing themselves children will develop self-esteem and much-needed social-emotional skills to carry with them in their learning journey.

About my class
