I am needing more organization in my classroom so that we get the most out of our time that we actually get to spend in class. I have found that more hands on learning captures the engagement and excitement of students, especially during this pandemic. Learning and school has became such a chore for students and teachers so I feel that this makeover will capture our attention. Using the storage bin with the 12 tubs, I can mark my stations so that students can get the correct tub quickly and get to work. I have gathered a lot of supplies and activities but it is a cumbersome routine to get out and put up all the supplies. I have also requested some new activities for my multiplication stations. I think that the digital flash cards and new multiplication game will help my students memorize their facts and be ready to rankle new concepts. The digital flash cards require batteries. The file folders are used for my students yearly portfolios that they build as they achieve goals and objectives. I have 6 classes and will use the mesh baskets to file each students portfolio in. These storage innovations that I have requested will help us set a routine that the students will be in charge of. Calculators are used mainly for 6th grade and I am hoping the calculator organizer will be a reminder of organization tool for students to see and think of as a efficient method of computation.
