I would like my classroom to be a more social and emotional learning environment. I want my students to always be excited about coming to school and to feel secure and loved. I want them to be more interactive in every way. The Listening Center will help with their Phonics, Reading, and hopefully, even make them become better listeners. The costumes will help them express themselves emotionally and socially more in a fun learning environment. The math manipulatives will help with their addition and subtraction skills because it is hands-on. I teach both Pre-K and K and all these supplies will benefit all ages of my classroom and help them have a positive outlook on education. Sometimes our students don’t receive that at home. Because of COVID, children have not had a “normal” school year. They need time to play and be more social learners. Having the Listening Center, Play Costumes, and Math manipulatives will help my students become better learners.
