I have witnessed firsthand the stress my students carry with them from dealing with a COVID-19 world. I want my students to alleviate that stress when they are in my classroom so that they can learn in peace. I want my students to be able to learn in an environment where they can forget COVID exists for just an hour. I want them to feel relaxed and supported while they are learning how to read, write, and communicate in a way that will make them successful not just in academia, but in the real world.
