Donations to our PE gym will be primarily for indoor scooters, basketballs, and small indoor soccer goals. Our gym is used for PE class as well as indoor recesses, so having more equipment would help students stay active while inside. First, indoor scooters improve balance and coordination. Also, the new basketballs will replace a couple of old basketballs that have become unusable. Finally, indoor soccer goals will be used for an additional indoor recess option as well as another way to engage our students in a variety of sports, rather than the few that they are already familiar with. This donation will not only expand the level of activities we can engage in in our gym, but also strengthen the students' abilities in a number of ways!
