When distance learning is needed I struggle to teach math effectively. I create materials myself and search tirelessly for meaningful content to share. I am applying for this grant to be able to implement the use of a writing/drawing tablet for the delivery of my lessons. This will allow for me to mirror what in the classroom I would do on a whiteboard to the writing/drawing tablet on their computer screen. Technology is the way of the future and teaching virtually without it is holds back the potential for what my students can learn.
