The pandemic has impacted everyone in different ways, but one thing I've noticed is how much it has impacted how active my students are inside and outside of school. I am requesting a variety of physical education equipment to help teach and encourage my students to be active during the pandemic. This equipment will allow them to practice and master important skills. The basketballs will be used to teach ball handling skills such as dribbling and passing. The dodgeballs will be great to have because they help with skills such as coordination, throwing, passing overhand, as well as underhand. Soccer balls are important for helping students develop aim, leg strength, and coordination. The mesh bags will be useful for organizing this equipment so that it's easily accessible for my students. Finally, the whistle and coach board will be valuable for classroom management. The pandemic has exasperated depression, anxiety, and overall physical fitness across all grade levels and ages. Physical education can help!
