Confidence is what I give. It is my belief that the visual are for all people, not for a select or gifted few. My approach is that all students can learn to make art and express themselves through the visual art process. The "unseen" or experiences that students are personally involved with is what are important. The end product becomes the afterthought. These Prismacolor pencils are the one medium that students in my class use to bring all their skills together into a final project. By this time students have the confidence and knowledge to create a higher skill level of art.
