My classroom library is one of the most powerful tools I have as an educator. My students read independently in my class every day, and my goal is to get them as many titles as possible that will engage them and teach them about the world around them. Graphic novels beautifully blend images with text in a way that my students cannot get enough of. They also introduce them to complex, engrossing topics that they might not otherwise encounter in their reading experience. I can't keep them on my shelves as is, and I know that I need more. By donating to my cause, you will be directly benefiting my students in their literacy journeys.
