Please help me create a flexible seating area for my classroom. This area will provide comfortable seating options and warm lighting for my classroom. As students engage in learning this area would provide a comfortable place for students to read quietly, relax, and work independently or in a small group. The project would offer low lighting to avoid harsh fluorescent lighting and create a safe and cozy atmosphere for learning. This project will give students the ability to choose seating options other than their desks to engage in work and to unwind when needed. Amid the pandemic, these seating options and soft lighting will help my students focus and learn in a comfortable setting. It will also, help them unwind when necessary by allowing them to sit back in a comfortable bean bag seat or lay down with a clipboard to work on a soft rug. As you enter the classroom the lighting will set the tone for an inviting and comfortable working environment. The cushions, bean bags, and rug will be a way for small groups to gather and work in a place other than at their desks. This project will delight the children with joy when they see the lighting and seating options and make my classroom a place that children will love even more.
