The control sound bass drum heads will help the students compete on the high school level and be on part with neighboring programs in the state. This request is being made because of the lack of budget that is allowed for bands. The students are responsible for travel, uniforms, and instruments. The need for drum heads are essential for every band program in order to produce sound for outside performances. Without them, the band will not be able to compete and present themselves in a manner that allows them to win or be on par the competitors.
