My students are 2nd graders and as you can guess their favorite time of the day is recess! In order to balance out the day in the classroom I try my best to come up with hands-on activities that students can do with me in whole group and even around the room independently. However, this is difficult because of the lack of resources, especially in the area of hands-on activities and learning games. I want to provide students in my classroom with more opportunities to get out of their seats and their hands on learning they can feel. Unfortunately, due to COVID and distance learning taking place in order to keep the pandemic at bay, students have missed a lot of opportunities to engage in hands-on activities and take their learning to the next level.
