These materials will be used in person with my freshman physical science class. I have many supplies for the chemistry section of my class since my school also offers chemistry as a junior level science course, however, this is the only year they receive physics and supplies are limited. The topics of motion, force, energy and electromagnetism are easier to learn when they are able to see it for their own eyes. The supplies I have asked for will help bring science to lifer and help many of my students better understand the more complex topics. The benefits of hand on experiments reach farther than just learning science. During these experiments data is collected through group participation, results are calculated improving math skills and summary conclusions are written developing better writing and communication skills.
