Our students spend most of their day sitting in a chair at a desk. When they need a break, they're allowed to sit for a few minutes in a quiet corner of the room. We call it "The Comfy Corner." Right now, it's sparse. We're emphasizing Social Emotional Learning, with which students can learn more about their inner selves AND learn about others. Compassion for self and empathy for others are at the heart of this approach. Our 8- and 9-years old 3rd-graders have faced so much in the past two years. Please help us give them support with these supplies for our "Comfy Corner." Thank you. :)
