These tools will be used in our daily class "Writing Workshop" where students draft and create writing that they feel inspired by and connected to. With the aid of mini-lessons, they craft work in the genres of poetry, micro-fiction, activist journalism and book reviews using topics they have chosen to explore. These writing materials will supplement what many do not have at home. The printer will be used to give them quick access to and ownership of their final drafts for display and to keep in their portfolios. The folders are to create a drafting folder and organize their numerous pages of drafted writing.
