These games are family-friendly games that will help my students learn functional movements but even more importantly how to play games with friends using teamwork, sportsmanship, self-efficacy, and balancing how competitiveness. These games will also be great for my students who struggle with the typical PE platform of standard sports games, giving more students a chance to thrive and grow within my classroom. Standard sports are great but they can be intimidating for many and cause students to shut down and reject PE. It is my belief that if I have games that are more user-friendly for those students to start the year and semester, I can break down barriers and walls with those students early and allow them to open up to learning more standard sports and games in the weeks and months after!

About my class
