I will provide learning to every student during the Covid-19 pandemic using the document camera to project my daily lessons to my in-person students and to record my daily lessons for my virtual students. The videos will then be posted in their Google Classroom for them to watch at home while quarantined. Both virtual students and in-person students will learn to use the scientific calculators to aid in their problem solving. Some will get hands-on practice while others will learn from the videos created using the document camera until they are able to return to school. A calculator for every student reduces the possibility of transmission of the virus from student to student. My goal is for my students to gain confidence and competence in their mathematical abilities which will carry them through their school years and beyond. There are so many skills taught in math that are relevant to daily life that need to be reinforced daily. I hope to instill at least some of the passion I have as well as have my students see the importance of Math as they get older.
