The objective of our project is to increase team & individual sports skills and to inspire/motivate our student-athletes to be exceptional and work together to even the playing field. Too often low budgets require our team to hold fundraisers to purchase replacement or updated equipment. This takes away from the focus of work on the field and adds an additional level of stress to the student-athlete. There is never a guarantee that fundraising goals will be met and equipment will go years without being replaced. A donation towards this project will take us in a direction where we can focus on the team and individual athlete development without having to worry about funding equipment. After having a canceled season last year, there is a need for increased conditioning and training to prepare for games. A donation to support getting my athletes more basketballs will allow more of them to practice their skills and run drills at the same time. The addition of this equipment will give our team the ability to run drills more efficiently increasing the athlete's hands-on time during practice. With our current supply of basketballs, there is also a need to replace the old balls that are not providing adequate practice.
