I work with over 600 students a week in grades K-5.86% of those children are from low income homes and qualify for free lunch. We are a Title 1 school. Spanish is the first language for the overwhelming majority of my students. By the time the kids get to music they are more than ready to learn by doing. They love to have instruments in their hands and do handle equipment with respect.
