The iPad will benefit non-verbal special needs students access to communication resources by giving them an alternate voice in the areas of Literacy, Math, Social Skills and Financial Literacy. Non-verbal students can communicate through technology when they have access to the right resources. All students can learn. The realistic looking money will help the special needs students in my class improve their Math fluency and Financial Literacy in an engaging way that will hold their interest while giving them skills that they can transfer into the community in which they live.
