The pandemic has been very challenging on all of us, but particularly students from low-income households. These STEM Lego sets will keep my students engaged and excited about learning. Their favorite activity to do whenever time allows is to build with Legos. These sets are going to help my students work on Science-Technology-Engineering and Math, subjects that are particularly needed for students at Title 1 schools. I have also noticed that while my students are working together in small groups, they feel more able to share their thoughts with both myself and their peers. In this way, I believe that their social-emotional needs will addressed by this project.

About my class
