Whether learning is happening remotely or in the classroom, students need language to come alive. For this project, I chose items that help me bring learning to life for the students. The easel and the jumbo/magnetic manipulatives will help students in decoding and orthographically mapping the letters with the sounds. Students will have reusable resources that will make learning language and phonics come to life with engaging objects to handle and manipulate. Remote learning has brought with it challenges teachers are forced to address. The magnetic mobile easel will help students who are accessing the classroom via technology to be able to see more clearly what is happening and will bring the classroom to them.
