When Covid shut my school down, students went to online learning and several families didn't have the technology needed to support their student. The school provided a Chromebook to the families that were in need. We then received some funding and were able to have one Chromebook to every student in our school. This was helpful so each student would be able to take the Chromebook home if needed. However, we didn't get any accessories to go with them. I have noticed several students need help using the mouse touch pad efficiently and effectively. We don't have touch screen Chromebooks. The mice will help students navigate their Chromebook with all the blended learning I have been implementing this year. The headsets will also help each student listen to any directions and activities needed. The tablet will be used during STEM activities, specifically when we are working on showing energy transfer. I need to record in slow motion the cars we build crashing. All of these items will be used by students to help them with learning and hopefully closing the gap the Covid has opened.
