My first grade students are excited and eager to learn. They have loved being in person to learn instead of in front of a computer screen. Each day I provide students the opportunity to engage in their learning. Students love it when I can give them manipulatives and physical items as they practice each skill or lesson. The picture above is an example of this. Instead of measuring a line on a paper students walked around the room measuring with their feet and other objects. A physical approach to learning that solidifies a lesson and creates a positive memory of learning.
