Headphones are needed for my special education students to properly utilize the reading and math computer programs supplied by the district. These programs are one-on-one tutoring programs that involve properly listening to the programs. The headphones are vital for the students' success. By improving their basic reading and math skills, the students will improve academically and be better prepared for entering the job force. Better reading and math skills also means higher self-esteem for our students. In this era of Covid, I would prefer that the students do not have to share headphones.

About my class
