Personal wellness is a necessity for anyone, especially children. I work in a school that is a 100% minority populated school in the heart of the inner city. Our parents in our community work hard to provide basic necessities for their homes and children and the burden of that sometimes takes away from their ability to aid in their children's educational progress and development. Our students are vibrant, hard-working, and enthusiastic about learning. Learning should not stop at school it should continue when students get home. These items will help us start our school pantry in an effort to help provide essential personal care items for students and help us identify students and families in need. With that additional assistance we are positive that families will be more able and willing to continue the educational learning at home.
