We will be using this book to engage in a unit about epidemics and the spread of disease. Students will use information gathered from research using this book to create pamphlets for our community about diseases. These pamphlets will be presented during our annual banquet and will also be available in our parent center. Students will use information from the community to also help include information about hospitals and clinics in the area that can offer care. This is a project for our Freshmen students to explore the health careers field in a real-world setting.

About my class
