Due to the size of the PeaPods and cost, these will be used in school. Many of our students who struggle with dysregulation find comfort in having a secure place to de-escalate when they are experiencing strong emotions. Our students have disabilities including Autism, Attention-Deficit / Hyperactivity Disorder, Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, Significant Developmental Delays, Emotional/ Behavioral Disorders, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, and Other Health Impairment. PeaPods would provide security for our students who are feeling escalated. As our resource rooms are on opposite ends of the school, two would be ideal.

About my class
