Sensory play helps children to develop their physical skills; sensory play introduces actions such as shaping, scooping and moulding. These skills require multiple muscles to work together which helps a child fine motor skills, as well as their cognitive development. This type of play will encourage learning through exploration, curiosity, problem solving and creativity. It help build nerve connection in the brain and encourages the brain development of language. Everyday learning lessons with connect to the sensory activities that the students will engage with and will become an everyday part of the classroom, as well as a rewarding experience for each child to engage in.
