I am requesting additional resources so that my students can explore STEM related activities. Every opportunity a scholar has to explore is an opportunity they may never have had before! I have listed STEM activities on our first grade Donors Choose because many of my scholars have not had many opportunities for free exploration in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. I want to give them additional chances to use their own thoughts and ideas to create. This also provides opportunities for students' collaboration and enhances their communication skills when they work together on a project.
