My students amaze me every day! We live in a largely rural area, and there is not a great deal of cultural diversity in our community. I cannot change the makeup of our community, but I am committed to helping my wonderful, compassionate students gain a broader perspective on the world through the literature we read together. We will begin a comprehensive unit on the Holocaust in the spring, and we will end our studies with a trip to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, DC.

About my class
