I am requesting tourniquets, latex gloves, disinfectant wipes, exam table papers and paper plates. My students will be able to receive hands-on experience of learning how to assist with physical examinations and sterilization of medical equipment. They will be working with each other in a clinical lab setting to improve their understanding of patient care. Students will gain additional knowledge of healthcare with use the materials to enhance clinical procedures and clinical testing. The student will practice the related concepts in the laboratory regarding injections, venipuncture, aseptic technique, and triage, as well as computer career skills regarding keyboarding, front desk, and back office check in and check out process.
