My students will be exposed to a classic piece of literature that is appropriate for their current reading level. They will be able to participate in a group study of The Swiss Family Robinson where they each have access to a copy of the book. I hope this book inspires a lifelong love of reading and shows students that there are many adventures to be had within the pages of a good book. Few books are more intriguing to young readers than this all-time favorite. I believe it will greatly benefit my readers who are struggling to read proficiently.
